This year marks Peak Sensors 25th year of temperature sensor manufacture. Here we look at what’s happened in the last 25 years of trading.
Peak Sensors Beginnings
2002
In 2002 peak sensors celebrates five years of successful trading after moving and expanding premises to increase manufacturing capacity by 6 times and adding in-house engineering capabilities Peak Sensors also gains ISO 9001 quality approval to meet the demands of its ever-increasing customer base.
Continuous Improvement
2007
2007 marks ten years of successful trading. The variety and complexity of products made and projects completed increases. Peak Sensors was chosen to develop new temperature sensor technology for BP for the petrochemical industry.
Quality And Stability
2008
In 2008 Peak Sensors moves into brand new premises at The Bridge Business Centre which again doubles sensor manufacturing capacity. Surviving the challenges from the financial crash, Peak Sensors started to diversify the markets it operated in. In 2011 Peak Sensors secures its largest-ever single order of over £100,000 with this record being broken in 2015 with an order worth over £150,000.
2016
We invested in a laser welder in 2016 to speed up operations, provide better quality products and it also enables us to weld very long mineral-insulated temperature sensors.
2017
In 2017 Peter Smith moved to a consultant role and Roshan Aucklah becomes our new MD to head up further growth and development.
