Learn more about our Thermocouple Inserts
Thermocouple Inserts are commonly used in pocket, thermowell or head assemblies. They are constructed with thermocouple elements insulated and protected by mineral insulated powder, which is then packed inside a rigid metal tube. They are very similar to mineral insulated thermocouples but they cannot be bent to shape.
Need some help?
All our thermocouples are custom made, as such we are able to tailor your sensors exactly to your requirements. There are many extra options available including:
Full UKAS or UKAS traceable calibration is available. AMS 2750 F to full or traceable calibration is available.
Flange or compression fittings can be added such as an adjustable or welded flange on shank.
Material certificates are available on request.
Thermocouples can be supplied duplex instead of simplex.
The design can be spring loaded to give a good thermal contact with pocket/thermowell.
Your own serial, product number or other information attached to sensors via heat shrink cable or metal tags.
Thermocouple junctions can be insulated, exposed or grounded depending on what’s suitable for your application.
Reduced tip options
Reduced hot junction for fast response or cost saving.
We’ve made thermocouples for over 25 years and today we are considered the best choice for custom built temperature sensors in the UK. We continue to apply our expertise and invest in the latest technology to provide our customers with the highest quality temperature sensors available.
