Peak Sensors: Our Responsibility to People & Planet

At Peak Sensors, we believe in doing business the right way—by looking after our people, supporting our community, and minimising our impact on the environment. As a small business, we may not have the resources of big corporations, but we take pride in making a difference where we can.
Sustainability & Environmental Responsibility
We care about our planet and do what we can to operate sustainably.
- 100% Renewable Energy – Our electricity comes from renewable sources, reducing our carbon footprint.
- Platinum Recycling – Instead of discarding valuable metals, we reclaim and reuse platinum from our temperature sensors.
Supporting Education & Apprenticeships
We love seeing young people get into engineering and manufacturing, and we do our bit to help:
- Apprenticeships & Work Experience – We work with Chesterfield College and local schools to offer hands-on experience. Some of our team members started as apprentices or work experience students before taking on full-time roles.
Diversity & Inclusion
We believe in a fair and inclusive workplace where everyone feels welcome. Our hiring is based on skills and potential, not background, and we celebrate the diversity of our team.
Looking After Our Team
A happy team makes a great business, so we look after our people.
- Profit Sharing – We share 10% of our quarterly profits with employees to recognise their hard work.
- Health & Well-Being – We promote a safe, supportive workplace with mental health resources and flexible working where possible.
- Training & Development – We provide training in sales, marketing, lean manufacturing, finance, and leadership.
Making a Positive Impact
Being a responsible business is about more than just ticking boxes—it’s about doing what’s right. We’ll keep looking for new ways to be greener, support our team, and help our community. If you share our vision and want to collaborate, we’d love to hear from you!
