Quality Engineer
Position title: Quality Engineer
Hour requirements:
- Full-time
- Monday-Thursday 9 am – 5 pm
- Friday 9 am – 4 pm

Due to the continued growth of Peak Sensors we are looking to recruit a Quality Engineer to join the business.
Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Quality Engineer to join our team. The Quality Engineer will play a key role in ensuring the highest standards of product quality are maintained and developed. The ideal candidate will possess a technical background with strong analytical skills, and a proactive mindset towards continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain quality standards to ensure manufactured goods conform to customer requirements
- Conduct inspections of incoming materials to ensure compliance
- Verify product dimensions and conduct visual inspections for defects or irregularities
- Develop and/or implement quality control systems
- Collaborate with auditors to demonstrate adherence to quality standards and regulations
- Document non-conformities and track corrective actions to resolution
- Develop corrective actions, solutions and improvements
- Investigate and troubleshoot product or production issues
- Review production processes with production to identify opportunities for quality improvement
- Be part of the internal audit team to ensure compliance to ISO9001
Experience and Skills:
- Engineering experience preferred, but not essential
- 2+ years of experience in quality engineering, quality assurance, or a similar
- Attention to detail
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Communication skills
- Auditing skills (desirable)
- Knowledge of root-cause analysis (desirable)
